sound cuts out during live streaming

The audio cuts out during live streaming on iPad and iPhone.

I have tried the reboots and reconnects.

  1. it looks like this problem of sound interruption on streaming on iPad has been going on for quite a long time with no correction from Xfinity. I recently started streaming on my iPad and at first I had no problem, but starting a few days ago, I am experiencing exactly the same thing. The video continues, but the sound stops and I’m not really a good lip reader. I don’t know why Xfinity is not addressed this problem, but I find it very irritating as I need to be able to use my iPad and not my television at night. The channels that I have had problems with include ion and whatever channel 911 is on. I’m going to start to try all the other channels that I sometimes watch.

Good afternoon user_wdu7y7! We appreciate you reaching out to our Xfinity Community Forums. I can certainly understand your frustration if you are trying to watch a program and the sound cuts out. I will be more than happy to assist you with this. Is this happening when you are using the Xfinity Stream app? Is it happening during live TV, OnDemand programming, or recordings? What troubleshooting steps have you already attempted with the app?
