This is a scam by xfinity all they want you to do is waste time with these stupid support assistance. They use false advertising they should tell you up front that you can't use apple TV on any TV. I am very illiterate on using stuff like this and they are no help. They need to start lowering prices for what you can't get help with.

Good evening user_d4y5fa thank you so much for taking the time to reach us here via our Xfinity Forums. Are you referring to our Xfinity Stream App? This App allows you to watch Xfinity TV content on partner devices, and Apple TV is one of those platforms. You do have to be subscribed to Xfinity TV service for this to work though.
