total illogical and stupid request when xfinity says you can only get access from you home wifi!!!!!!!!

 I am sitting in a rehab facility. I go on Xfinity stream to watch a football game, simple right?  Not so simple with you with guys. So when I tried to watch a football game it tells me I have to log in from my home Wi-Fi for contractual reasons (meaning more money for you). 

Have you heard of anything more bizarre in your whole career?   If I was home would I shut off my cable and watch the football game on Wi-Fi?  Whoever makes this kind of decision has to be incompetent. It is totally illogical. You are screwing a long time customers paying outrageous fees and some idiot doesn't even consider that type of a situation because you would only go on Xfinity stream if you were remote correct????

So, to all of you that are in hospitals, rehab,  nursing homes, on vacation, not at home, good luck!

No reply. Tried to watch national news last night only one of four was available. The others you had to log onto your own Wi-Fi. I could get Andy Griffith reruns though.

@user_xllpgm While I do enjoy a good rerun, having access to your programming while not at home is important and one of the awesome features of the Xfinity Stream app. I do find that some programs are limited due to the networks policies. What network was the game on for your area? I have these networks available with Xfinity Stream while out of home.

Agree with you. What is the sense for paying for Xfinity Stream when you are not able to stream. This is not very good customer service.
