Streaming app error code TVAPP-00287

Hello,

I use the Xfinity Streaming app with my Roku devices in my home to watch my xfinity content. 

I have been unable to utilize the app for the past couple of days. The guides work fine (i.e. I can see the available programming), but when I select a channel it does not load.

I have deleted/re-added the Xfinity stream app, I have restarted my Roku multiple times, but I still get the same result.

The inability to view content via the Xfinity stream app is happening across all my Roku and iOS devices.

Currently, I am getting an error the says ‘Error: TVAPP-00287’

  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

I am having the same issue, started with the Fire Stick (returned) and now with a replacement Roku Stick.  What is going on with the streaming app and my TV?
