TVAPP-00502

New xumo box installed today. It is connected to the internet and TV properly. All other apps on the device work fine. The xfinity streaming app won't work gives the something went wrong error tvapp-00502 spent 30 min on the phone with customer service no help. I pay $20 a month for the now tv package. It works on my phone but not this box.

After 2 more calls and an hour wasted. I went to the xfinity website removed the streaming service and box from my account. Went to xfinity.com/returns printed a return label. Signed up for a philo trial they didn't need me to have a special box and am now enjoying tv. Glad I didn't move my wireless phone service to xfinity this company is worthless.

NOW TV can be watched through the Xumo box, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, AirPlay, and on mobile or desktop. If you want to try this service again in the future, please let us know.
