Unable to activate peacock - Something unexpected happened Please close this pop up and try again

I am unable to activate peacock subscription. When I hit the activate button, I get this error

"

Something unexpected happened

Please close this pop up and try again. If the problem persists, try again later."

Looking at the network traffic in the browser, I see this error

Could you please help activate my peacock subscription?

Hello @user_476aox, have you attempted to us the https://customer.xfinity.com/activate-peacock link to activate your peacock subscription?

Hello @XfinityJustinM , thank you for your response. I have tried to use the link you mentioned and it the website says "Your peacock account is already active". There is a "Continue to peacock" button. When I click the button, I am taken to https://www.peacocktv.com/ where I am asked to Sign In again. When I provide my email address, the website asks me to choose "Pick a Plan. Cancel anytime" with some prices for various plans. Its as if it is telling me to purchase a subscription
