xfinity steam app not working on samsung tv

My xfinity stream app freezes on my samsung tv. It launches, gets through the Purple startup screen, then gets to the next screen(black) with 3 dots trying to load, and gets no further. This just started 3 days ago. Please advise on how to resolve.

@user_9f0bce What model/year is your TV? Check to make sure your TV firmware is up to date. Did you try uninstall/reinstall the app? Also try rebooting your TV. Hold the power button on the remote until you see the Samsung logo flash on/off on the TV then release button.

I have this same problem.  If I empty the data and everything it will work but only for that one time.  I have to do it and sign in every time to get it to work. Not worth it for me.

@user_mdsy9b​ What is the make/model and year of your Samsung TV? Did you check that your TV firmware is up to date? Also check on the Samsung web site for a newer version, if the TV says no updates.

I've done everything on this thread. I have the same issue. Works once after delete/ install, then locks up again. TV up to date, wifi strong, no ther services have an issue, just this TVs useless operating system.

@user_a568bc​ Just had this same issue - 2 hours of trying to get help for it proved to be a waste of time! It finally just "fixed" itself.  My LG tv started doing it, deleted it, reinstalled it, signed back in, but now it won't keep my log in information so I have to sign in EVERY TIME! So frustrating!

Works after I delete/reinstall, but then reverts back to same issues not working. Samsung TV Model is TU7000 and had been working perfectly fine. Same issue- freezes on the 3 dot loading screen. Incredibly frustrating

I have the same issue,  does not seem to be an answer posted from customer support?  Disappointing level of support.

I have the same problem. Streaming the app through my Samsung tv. Newest Samsung update and multiple reinstalls. I even did a factory reset and it only lasts a day and then it gets hung up. So frustrating.
