Xfinity Stream app forcing plan purchase

I have Internet service with Xfinity, and access to Xfinity Stream is included.  I can "watch TV online" (https://www.xfinity.com/stream/) through a browser without a problem, but logging in through the Stream app (via xfinisty.com/authorize process), the app forces me into a plan purchase routine (at +$48/mo), rather than recognizing that streaming is included with my current service.  The app behaves this way on multiple TVs, which meet the requirements.  Feels like an account issue.  Any ideas on how to solve?

Good afternoon user_cgn44v I would be happy to look into this further for you. I do have a couple of questions to better assist. When you are using Xfinity Stream online, what content does it let you access? Are you subscribed to any additional content from us, aside from internet, like Xfinity NOW TV?

Thanks for the reply!  I am not subscribed to any other services/content from Xfinity, other than home internet (1GB).  When I visit https://www.xfinity.com/stream/ online, I have access to the full grid of content - free streaming channels TV, sports "on now", Live TV, and on-demand moves & TV shows.

user_cgn44v I appreciate that information. Are all the devices you are trying to access the Xfinity Stream app with connecting to your in home Wi-Fi? Are you logging in with the same username that you are using on the browser?

Yes and yes.  I've tried all the "easy" stuff, multiple times.  That's why this feels like an account issue to me.

@user_cgn44v  Can you share with me what make and model the TVs are that you are trying to access the Stream app on? If you aren't using a smart TV, but a device such as a Roku, please let me know the make and model of that as well.
