Xfinity Stream App Issue
I am having an issue with the Xfinity Stream app requesting that I pay an additional $48 package. The Xfinity Stream app should be free with my WIFI account. I am signed onto the WIFI in my home and I am also on the same WIFI network on my phone when I try to activate it. I go to Xfinity.com/authorize and enter the 6-digit code. When it tries to log in, I get a screen that says I need to pay an additional $48 for extra channels. I don't want the extra channels, I only want what is on the Xfinity Stream app. How do I fix this issue?
I have tried installing, un-installing and re-installing over and over. Still the issue persists. I can't figure out why this is happening or how to fix it.

Good morning @user_9cbef5, while the Xfinity Stream app is available at no additional cost, the content available within the Xfinity Stream app will depend on the level of video services you are subscribed to.
If you are unsure of what networks are available in each programming tier, you can check your local channel lineup here:

You have to have the xfinity tv service (if you only just pay xfinity WiFi internet) in order for the xfinity app to be free on your Roku tv or whatever tv device you have. Otherwise you can download the xfinity app on your mobile device and get some ofThe tv shows free. You can either call xfinity and get the xfinity tv service (cost more for cable or us like direct tv cost etc ) or just pay $48 so can download on your Roku tv or whatever tv device you have.
