Xfinity Stream Fire TV app problem

After working fine for over a year, the Xfinity Stream Fire TV app on my Insignia NS-32F202NA23 refused to play any selections.  All functions normal from the time something is selected to play right up until the channel network logo is displayed.  Then you get a blank screen.  You can back out to the menus and try another channel but get the same result.  All the other apps on the TV work fine.  I tried reinstalling the app but got the same result.

Any suggestions?

UPDATE:  Unplugging the TV for a couple of minutes fixed the problem.
