Xfinity Streaming on macbook pro > NO sound only on MSNBC

I've tried everything:  reset NVRAM, different browser, reset all sound settings, turned off blue  tooth.  I get no sound ONLY on MSNBC.  CNN and all other stations work normally.

Yes I have cleared cache, history etc.

This is extremely frustrating.

I’m having that same issue. I don’t see any helpful responses. I’ve also tried the things listed in the comments. There is sound with the commercials but not with the program content. Does an Xfinity tech person respond to this forum?

user_7thllq Since this is only happening to one network and the sound does work while commercials are playing that typically means there is something from the network that is not working with the Macbook. If possible, test MSNBC on another device (like an iPad or smartphone) using the same network. This can help isolate whether the issue is device-specific.

Just adding my frustration with this issue...no sound on MSNBC or CNBC streaming on Mac Pro and Fire TV. Commercials have sound but that's it...

XFINITY answer this.  There is something in your firewall preventing sound on MSNBC using the xfinity web.  I'm not the only one with this issue.

I'll post on x using @xfinity  to see if others have the same issues.
