Xfinity streaming Roku

Three times this week, our service has been interrupted, necessitating chat assistance. Tonight is our third experience with service interruption this week.  I wish I could say that this is a new issue, but unfortunately the issue is never ending. We might go for a couple of weeks and be just fine, and then the problems reappear, like now. We use Roku on all of our TVs and Xfinity has not resolved the Roku issues that have been reported in this forum for three months. We have the same problems with our sound, too. At times, tv speaking (mouths moving) will be out of sync with sound. There are times that sound becomes blastingly loud. We’re at the end of our rope with Xfinity tv streaming, with so many other options becoming available, if Xfinity won't listen to its customers, it may be time to find a company that does.

@user_0c8245 Thank you for reaching out on the Xfinity Community Forums. We are happy to help you out. I know you mentioned you use Roku on all Tv's, are you seeing the isse on all devices with Roku?

Just now, NBC has frozen up and ABC has totally disappeared from the guide. Yes, all devices (we have two Roku TVs @and three with Roku sticks) have been malfunctioning. We are seriously OVER this. It seems that Comcast Xfinity cannot fix Roku issues. I’ve read several months’ worth of complaints in this forum. We have spent countless hours talking to agents who ask fail to read notes of these ongoing issues and ask the same questions, over and over. We have had “new signals” sent, uninstalled and reinstalled the Xfinity app, checked for updates from Roku and Xfinity, turned off our sets and rebooted apps…. And yet, nothing is a fix. Now, our issues have been going on for over a week.
Question to you, why does your app rely on Roku? Apps like HULU and YOUTUBE are downloaded on a smart tv and used for streaming, irrespective of any add on device like a stick. We have Vizio and Sony TVs with the Roku sticks (as well as those two Roku TVs). Why can’t the customer download the app onto a Sony or Vizio?

We are excellent customers of your company, but are DONE!

Too late. We’ve dropped Xfinity streaming. Again, you failed to listen to our multiple complaints and if you were working on getting the app onto other devices, it took you too long.
