Xumo

I used Xumo at home with Ethernet input and with Wi-Fi and it works well. I tried to use it in a classroom with Xfinity Ethernet input and it would not work. It just displayed some numbers then blank screen. It there something in Xumo that connects it to my modem?

sgtjdc Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your Xumo. For your Xumo to work properly it must be connected to the internet service tied to the account with it, in other words you can only use it at your home and can not take it to other places.

Thank you for your clarification, I suspected as much. Is there a way that I can purchase another one and use it exclusively in the classroom, with my Concast account? I need to show some material that has a charge, like from Amazon Prime and it needs to be charged to me.

I do apologize, @sgtjdc ! We would not be able to have one purchased, because it does require an account attachment to work.
