2.4 constantly going down

Every day my 2.4 stops working and I need to reset the router. I had to separate the 2.4 and 5G as the devices needing the 2.4 wont work until the reset. The 5G never goes down and the App says there are no issues but the 2.4 starts working once the reset is complete until around 3am when it goes down again. Every. Single. Day.

Hey @user_8w1l5g, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We would be more than happy to assist in troubleshooting the wireless networks. Do you happen to know if you experience the same issues when you have both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network under the same name (Also known as band steering enabled)?

Yes, it happens when bandsteering is enabled.  Any device connected to the 2.4 becomes disconnected everyday and has yo be reset
