Adding Google Nest WiFi Pro Extenders to Xfinity Wifi Network

I bought the Google Nest WiFi Pro system about a month ago with the intention of extending my Xfinity wifi network throughout the house for better connection/coverage. When setting them up, it looks like we created a second wifi network rather than extending the existing one. Now, our connection is even worse and both networks are spotty. I want to delete the new one and just use the Google pods as extensions of our original Xfinity network. How can I do this?

Put the Xfinity gateway into bridge mode so that it acts only as a straight cable modem. It will disable the xfinity WiFi network. And just use the Google network. You'll be much better off !

francescalmasc, Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to reach out. We can certainly understand the importance of being able to use your Google Nest Wifi Pro system without spotty service. You've reached the right virtual space for support. Have you tried putting the Xfinity modem in bridge mode yet as our awesome expert @EG suggested? Please feel free to visit this great link to view the details more easily on how to use bridge mode here. Please let us know if this helps.
