Arris S34 Not getting next gen speeds

I keep seeing lists saying the S34 is supposed to be mid split compatible. When will they make that actually work? I am stuck at 40mb upload.

@SpartanCaptain Thanks for posting on our Forums. Unfortunately, we don't have a list of expected dates for more modems to become approved on our network, but I would always use this link to check for Compatible Devices. After entering your address and speed tier, there is a highlighted box on the bottom of the supported modem grid that will bring a PDF for all supported devices for the next-gen network upgrades.

When I go there it gives me the list saying the Arris S34 is supported for the higher speeds. And I am not getting those at the moment.

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:


 • Click "Sign In" if necessary


 • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging


 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon


 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there


 •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list


 •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line


 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window


 • Press Enter to send it

1 month later - Sure seems to have been resolved. As long as your address is located in a Next Gen Speed area.

Looks like they're finally getting the info out to folks with the Arris S34. Best of luck!
