They recently updated the gateway's firmware. You have to turn on admin access in the app now;

https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/admin-tool-access

Open the Xfinity App. (You'll need a working connection for this step).

Go to the WiFi tab.

Select View WiFi equipment and open Advanced Settings.

Select Admin Tool online access.

Slide the toggle button to Allow Admin Tool access (ON).

Select Save.

After that, you should be able to navigate to http://10.0.0.1

Yeah, same here for me. I was in bridged mode prior to the firmware update and now only get a warning to use the app to manage settings when I go to the web admin interface. If I go to the mobile app, click wifi and only have troubleshoot or wifi hotspots. click my device in the list below those two options and that page has device details, and troubleshoot device. Troubleshoot device just opens xfinity assistant. Device details doesn't have options, just informational.

Sorry to hear that. I don't think that the new firmware has been pushed to everyone's gateways quite yet. Try power cycling it and see if it pulls it. Good luck !

New firmware was pushed to my XB7 and I have lost the web admin user interface.  I use the XB7 in Bridge mode and so there is no way to use the Xfinity app to enable the Admin switch which allows configuration via the app.  To do that I'd have to take it out of Bridge mode.

However, without access to the web admin UI my only path to temporarily disabling Bridge mode would be a hard reset, then re-enabling Bridge mode in the app.

But I have heard it said that support could REMOTELY disable Bridge mode for me without having to reset the modem.  Is that true?
