Broken BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) routing table
I recently moved into a new apartment and purchased Xfinity 500Mbps plan. Although my internet has been stable, the speeds are significantly less than expected. My computer, connected through wifi, gets between 28 to 40 Mbps. My real issue, and the purpose of this post is to bring awareness to quite inefficient routing in a tracert test to League of Legends server. I don't want to post the IPs out of an abundance of caution, but would be able to provide most of the log in a direct message with support. The route had 19 stops from Minnesota to Denver to New York to LA, which I believe is due to broken routing tables. I'll be looking into a wired connection to stabilize my experience but won't be able to play competitively while my connection is like this. Let me know what other information would be helpful, and if the issue has potential to be resolved. I noted "Direct Messaging" being used in response to other posts, but I do not see that available for me currently.
