Cannot Access Hitron Coda 56 GUI

I am not able to access the GUI on my Hitron Coda 56.  Based on my research, I understand that firmware version 7.3.5.0.1b5 or above is required.  How can I obtain current firmware?  TIA.

Gemini figured out how to access the GUI for me, and I can see that I'm running firmware version 7.3.5.3.2b1.

I've now been told that I have the correct firmware to access the GUI, but it doesn't work.  I can ping 192.168.100.1 without any problem but I cannot access the GUI.

Is there any further update on this post?  I'm having exactly the same problem:  I can ping to Hitron CODA56 cable modem (at 192.168.100.1), but I can't see its GUI if I point my browser at that IP.  Hitron manufacturer tech support confirmed that the GUI will only be displayed if the modem has firmware version 7.3.5.0.1b2 or later.  But since I can't see the GUI, I can't tell what firmware version is currently installed on my CODA56.  Hitron support also confirmed that only Xfinity can push new firmware onto the device.  So is this something I can ask frontline Xfinity tech support to check (can they tell what firmware version is installed on a customer-owned modem?...I doubt it).  Can I ask Xfinity tech support to push firmware version 7.3.5.0.1b2 or later?  Will they understand such a request and do they have ability to push firmware (or just modem configuration/provisioning files)?  is this something that Digital Care Team can help with?  Please advise.  I want to be able to see my Hitron CODA56's GUI so that I can observe device diagnostics like RF signal strength and which upstream/downstream channel(s) are being locked by the modem.

Hey there user_9hc71n, thanks for reaching out through the community forums! Firmware updates for typically go through automatically, and we don't have a way to push them through manually, but we can try sending a few standard signals and reprovisioning the modem to see if it might help. Please send us a direct message with your full name, name on the account (if different), and service address, and we'll give it a shot!

Here are detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "to" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message
