user_4bokc6, Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. You can easily change your WiFi network name (SSID) and password using the Xfinity app. Here are the steps below:
Open the Xfinity app and select the WiFi tab.
Tap WiFi Details.
Select Edit WiFi Settings.
Update your WiFi name and/or password.
Tap Save to apply the changes.
Once saved, your devices may disconnect and will need to reconnect using the new WiFi name and password. Let us know if you run into any issues, and we'll be happy to help! 😀
user_iqcahw, Thanks for letting us know. We definitely want to get to the bottom of that. When you try to access the app, are you receiving a specific error message, or does it prevent you from signing in altogether? Also, what type of device are you using (iPhone, Android, tablet, etc.)? We'll do our best to help get you back into the app.
I am an Official Xfinity Employee. Official Employees are from multiple teams within Xfinity: CARE, Product, Leadership. We ask that you post publicly so people with similar questions may benefit from the conversation. Was your question answered? Please mark as Best Answer.
