Consistent High Latency in Evenings

Hello,

I’ve recently moved to a new address and for the past two weeks I’ve been experiencing consistent latency issues only between the hours of approximately 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM. During this window, my latency spikes and stays roughly around 100ms+, but outside of those hours the connection is stable.

Can you please look into this issue and advise on a solution?

Thanks for taking the time to reach out for support @user_81kahc! I'm sorry to hear about the connection issues you've been experiencing at your new location. Have you tried any troubleshooting? Here's a great guide to check out, let me know if this helps: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/internet-troubleshooting-tips/602dae4ac5375f08cde52ea0.

Not certain, but this sounds typical of being caused by a peak usage time capacity / traffic congestion problem on your local cable segment / node. If so, there is not much that you can do about it except to complain to them persistently and to try to get your immediate neighbors to join in. The more neighbors that complain, the more effective it will be. Good luck !
