Consistent Lag - Packet Loss
Lately, I’ve been having a lot of internet issues. I got used to it, but the last few days it was really bad, especially while gaming. I can see other players moving around fine, but I can’t move myself. I keep getting teleported back or rubberbanded like crazy. Feels like I’m receiving data, but not sending it properly.
Things I’ve tried:
Swapped Ethernet cables (3 of them)
Switched to Wi-Fi
Tried a different computer
Same issue every time. Happens in multiple games too, but in the case of other games, I just get disconnected completely.
I contacted support, but the agent mostly tried to sell me Xfinity Mobile and then just left (I think it's crazy they would just disconnect) without fixing anything. Today, when I tried again to get help from support, I got this message: “Our system detected an issue with your internet performance that requires a technician to resolve.” So my other question is do I have to pay for that technician visit?
I’m honestly pretty disappointed with the support I’ve gotten so far.
