Constant Dropping internet service

Drops service all the time have reset and restarted over 50x and replaced modem. Use internet to monitor medical device gets real scarey sometimes

First. When these outages occur, are they being officially indicated here with any info about them ?;

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

Is this with a WiFi connection ? If so, as a test, does a computer / device that is hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?


With this test, we are trying to isolate this down to being either a WiFi-only problem or a problem with the general connection to the Comcast system which would of course affect both. It's a good first step in troubleshooting before proceeding any further.

Bublebloer it seems like there's a good chance we need to schedule an appointment. Something you can always focus on is coaxial cables and splitters. In addition to resetting your modem make sure your cables are tight, in good condition, and bypass any potential splitters.

Have you had a chance to see if there was any outage info And to try that test ?
