Disable XB7 public WiFi hotspots

Hello there @user_wntfea, just wanted to follow up to see if you still had questions involving your Wi-Fi hotspots?

Yes, I still need assistance. My XB7 is in bridge mode and is still broadcasting both “xfinitywifi” and “Xfinity Mobile.” I confirmed that both SSIDs are coming from my XB7 by powering off only the XB7; both disappeared and then returned when I powered it back on. The Xfinity app does not provide the hotspot control, and the hotspot settings webpage says my device is not eligible for public hotspots. I would like both public hotspot broadcasts disabled while leaving bridge mode unchanged. Can you please help with this or check the gateway/account provisioning?

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
