Do I need a new modem?

We've had a third party modem for about three years since we signed up for Xfinity that enabled us to have internet and a landline. Recently we [finally] cancelled the landline and now the internet has been dropping a few times a day. Not sure if it's because of the cancelled landline or some other issue. Should I buy a new modem that doesn't support landlines?

First. What do the modem's signal status values look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1

What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?

Is there a router / WiFi in the mix here ?
