Download speeds?

ive been trying to update one of our Apple Watches for 30 minutes. I think this is an update from a few days ago that never downloaded. Is there a network issue in my area? Also, on our XFINITY app the app shows that my husband has two iPhones. Not correct. Sometimes that app shows ghosts ( a device with a previous software version) Anybody have information on this.

By late Tuesday afternoon the network was working again. We had had some blinking lights which always mess up the networks around here.

That may be because of the "Private Wi-Fi Address" feature. See https://support.apple.com/en-us/102509.

Actually we do have our devices set to Rotating. The ghost ended up to be an Apple Watch which needed an update.  Once that was done, it showed up as a Wearable device connected to our WiFi. We’re very rural so we dont see many new devices unless something just updated. I found the fastest way to sort that out is to forget a device once they disconnect from the WiFi and when i get the notice of a new device connected I can identify it and then we’re back to normal pretty quickly.
