ERROR: ISP's DHCP does not function properly

This error (and subsequent connection drops) occur almost hourly, and sometimes more often. It has been happening for months. I have tried all of the suggestions I could find in these forums and others. I use my personal Arris SB8200 modem with WAN aggregation on, going to an ASUS RT-AX88U Pro router (also WAN aggregation on). I have a 1.2Ghz plan. I have tried resetting the modem and re-activating the device through the Xfinity app, factory reset on the router, DHCP Query Frequency setting changes, MAC cloning, etc. NONE of these methods has done anything to remedy or improve the situation. Hardware-wise, nothing had changed on my end when the error started happening.

HELP PLEASE!!!

So far, it seems like I solved the problem by replacing the modem with an Arris S34. I have a 1.2Ghz plan, but the Arris SB8200 can only handle 1Ghz...but it does support WAN aggregation. So I used that feature, and was getting measured throughput of up to 1.4Ghz. The SB34 handles 2.5Ghz, so I get my full throughput without the need for aggregation.

So...WAN aggregation is what was somehow causing the ISP DHCP to not work properly? Can you explain that to me? It partially makes sense ...but partially doesn't LOL

It is possible when WAN aggregation is enabled can sometimes lead to issues where the DHCP server struggles to properly assign IP addresses. Let me know if that helps.
