Ethernet Port Activation

I've just moved into an apartment, and I was told I need to contact Xfinity to activate the Ethernet ports in my unit. How would I go about doing this? Also, how would I improve my wifi speeds, as I'm currently getting 15.14 Mbps down and 7.44 Mbps up while paying for 500Mbps via fiber.

Hello @user_42x586 thanks for reaching out to us here on Xfinity Forums. Sorry to see the speeds aren't coming in at the provided speeds with you plan. We can certainly troubleshoot to see what is maybe causing the issue. For the ethernet ports if they are not active already we may need to get a tech out to get those working. Please send us a direct message with your full name and the address and we can look into both issues for you.
