I purchased an xifinity wifi gateway that came with a coaxial cable, but my apartment only has an ethernet port. can xfinity provide an ethernet cable? or do I need to use an adapter?

@user_mkbm Thank you for making us aware that you're in need of an ethernet cable via Forums. You may visit any Xfinity store and pick one up at no additional cost or I can mail you one as well. You may use the Xfinity app to find the address to the nearest store to you.

An Ethernet port is for local networking. For internet service, the gateway device/modem needs to be connected to a coaxial cable feed from the Comcast system.
