Ethernet working, but not Wifi

I just got my Xfinity Gateway today and I am able to plug an ethernet cable into my PC and connect to the internet, but Wifi doesn't show up as connectable for any device, even though the App originally said it was active ( I gave the Wifi a name and a password and made sure it wasn't hidden). I tried restarting the Gateway and followed the steps to set it all up once again as well as changing the name of the Wifi, but it hasn't worked.

I tried to change settings via the http://10.0.0.1/ and was trying to make sure there wasn't a Bridge connection.  There wasn't, but I clicked to turn it ON (so that I could turn it OFF), but now I lost access to http://10.0.0.1/

I've since restarted and followed the setup process for my Gateway once again, but am still unable to access Wifi

Thank you for reaching out here @gokengt. If you are still running into issues with setting up that service, I would be happy to look further into that from here for you.

@gokengt

Try hard resetting the device to factory defaults by pressing and holding in the recessed reset button on the rear (or use the WPS button if it doesn't have a reset button hole) for 30 seconds. This can sometimes clear up some weird behavior issues. You will lose any customized settings, and they will need to be re-configured from scratch.

Good luck !
