False Positive Block on AI API Endpoints

I am writing to formally report a persistent issue with my Xfinity internet service regarding the incorrect blocking of specific professional API endpoints.

As a software developer, I frequently utilize various AI and cloud computing platforms via their official API ports. Recently, your xFi Advanced Security system began flagging and blocking these legitimate outgoing requests, treating them as "security threats."

While I have tried disabling the "Advanced Security" feature in the Xfinity app, the block persists at the gateway level. This is severely hindering my professional work. These are standardized HTTPS/REST API calls to globally recognized tech platforms, not malicious traffic.

I have been noticing the same thing for several days. I cannot upload files to ChatGPT and my Zoom AI assistant encounters a "Network Error" when logged in to xfinity.

It seems like xfi is not responding, so I'm considering to switch to ATT.  I do have a way to solve this temporarily,  but it may take many steps for people to configure.

Hello, @user_zekszy when this happens what is the specific network error are you getting? Are you also receiving any error codes that start with PC?

It's late. Connected to ATT already.  The only thing I remembered is 'failed to fetch'.
