Frequent Outages

I live in the Lehi/Saratoga Springs Utah area. For the past several months we have been experiencing very frequent outages. Sometimes lasting an hour or two, but sometimes lasting four hours or more. What is causing all of the outages, and what is being done to prevent them? If this continues, it might be time to look for a new provider.

Greetings @user_mkpxwk, and thank you for posting on our Xfinity Forum. That’s definitely frustrating, especially if it’s happening frequently. We want to help get this resolved. Have you checked our Xfinity app or our outage checker to see if anything is showing for your address?

If nothing appears there and the issue continues, please let us know. We're happy to help!

I’m always made aware of the outages on the app, I’m just wondering why we have them frequently. It’s happening sometimes a couple times a week. I rarely had them when I lived in Herriman.

Hi there, @user_mkpxwk! I am glad that the Xfinity app has been handy to check on your service. The area team fixes any signal issues affecting your service. We also complete proactive maintenance and replace area equipment or lines as needed. We further have teams out across the country upgrading our network to the next gen network. All of those things can factor into downtime in service.

Are you noticing any concerns with your service outside when the app shows there is a problem in the area?
