Frustrating Experience with Xfinity- Beware of Misleading Information

Ive had an extremely frustrating experience with Xfinity due to inconsistent service, miscommunication, and unexpected price increases.

I had an intermittent internet issue in parts of my house, so Xfinity told me I needed to take a test to qualify for a Wi-Fi extender. However, because the issue wasnt constant, their system didnt detect the problem, and I was denied the extender.

After waiting a month with no response, I called back. A representative told me I could skip the test entirely by upgrading my plan, so I agreed, hoping it would resolve the issue. Two weeks later still no extender. When I called again, another rep told me that I actually did need to take the test after all.

At this point, I asked to switch back to my original plan, which they had previously assured me was possible. However, I was then told that I could no longer go back to my previous plan, leaving me stuck paying significantly more for the same level of service.

Xfinity has constant policy changes, inconsistent information, and lack of follow-through have made this a frustrating experience. [Edited: "Solicitation"]
