Gateway login URL

Whenever I try to log into http://10.0.0.1 I get the following screen (see screenshot below)

I've tried other browsers, but I get the same results.  Cache and history cleared.  I cannot use the Xfinity app on my phone is its too old and my phone is not supported by many apps these days.

This is not cool and I should be able to log in to manage my network.

Thanks for stopping by our community forums, randya1! I apologize, but unfortunately the only way to enable this setting at this time is through the Xfinity App. If you're able to get the app to work on a device, you can find steps to enable admin settings here.

@XfinitySean​ Xfinity's support site still refers to 10.0.0.1 and your own Xfinity store reps and the field tech that installed my gateway and cable box advised of 10.0.0.1.

Unless all the above that I mentioned is incorrect and the Xfinity employees are all operating on incorrected information?

Nope, you're 100% correct that navigating to http://10.0.0.1 is how one would access the admin tool once enabled, but you must first toggle the "Allow Admin Tool access" setting in the Xfinity App to enable access as shown on the support page I shared covering how to Allow Xfinity WiFi Gateway Admin Tool online access using the Xfinity app

Ahh, ok.  Well, I do not have access app and won't likely have a phone that can for a long while.  There must be a work around for this?

Currently the only option to enable access to the admin tool is through the Xfinity app.
