Gateways

I have the XB8 currently and would like to swap it out for a XB10 I need more connection capacity and I see that the XB10 can handle up to 300. I have a lot of smart devices and cameras and I am planning on adding more and will need this soon. When I moved from the XB7 to the 8 it helped but not really because you can eat up 25 connections fast.

Thanks

John

Hello, @user_jwd1y0! Thanks for coming to the Xfinity Community Forum with your interest in upgrading Wireless Gateways from the XB8 to the XB10. You've come to the right place for support! Our Digital Care Team is great to work with because we'll always provide you with the latest, up-to-date information you need to make informed decisions, and it is our pleasure to help :) At this time, the Xfinity XB10 Gateway is currently only available for X-Class Internet customers who add speed tiers of X-500 or above. Do you subscribe to our X-Class service, or one of the standard tiers of Internet (Connect, Connect More, Fast, Superfast, Gigabit, or Gigabit x2)?

ok well I've been a customer for over 25 years so I guess that doesn't matter.

user_jwd1y0, thank you for making us part of your home for 25+years, that certainly means a lot in our book. The XB10 is pretty great, so I totally get your interest in it, however; at this time it's available to our eligibile X-Class speed tiers. Would you be interetested in looking at some options to upgrade your speed tier?
