High latency node

Is anyone looking into this comcast node? be-300-arsc1.sacramento.ca.ccal.comcast.net 96.216.198.77

This thing has like 90% packet loss and causes random latency issues. Anyone looking into this?

I am confirming this; this is possibly causing an issue with me backing up to a particular borg server.

Thanks for your comment, stephenSRM. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing a smiliar issue. What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? Did you try rebooting the modem manually or through the Xfinity App? Is this affecting all of your devices?

@XfinityDilary What do you mean what troubleshooting steps? It's an issue specifically with that route node. I have no loss with my gateway and nearly none with any other hop on the route. When a specific node has >80% loss, and no other nodes have that kind of loss, then it's readily apparent that the issue is with the node.

Just for the sake of saying I did so - Yes, I have tested this on another machine, and it showed the same issues. Yes, I have rebooted the modem.

This is not a problem with customer equipment, this is an issue with either that node or routing to that node.
