how do i add a mac address to my gateway

I have attempted to connect my hp printer to my new gateway several times.

It indicated that I needed to turn off MAC address filtering or add the device to the MAC filter list.

The gateway details indicate that MAC filtering is already in "allow all" mode, but I added my device the the list anyway.

After several attemps the printer is still not connecting.

Any help???

user_2z0gwk Thank you for stopping in for help with your printer. You may want to see if the printer needs to use a specific Wifi channel to connect. If you check out your Xfinity app in your advanced settings, there is an option to split your wifi network so you can more easily see which network you need to connect your printer. I need the 2.4 on my printer, and in some rooms, it just does not find the modem to connect unless I change the network names to see the 2.4.
