How to add device for port forwarding when not showing up in list on app

Hello,

I am trying to add a device for port forwarding on the app (android) and the device is not coming up in the list.

I've tried a bunch of things found online, restarting the device and router. confirming ipv4, logging out of the app. I've made the device a static ip. I'm not sure if that hurts or helps. When will Comcast fix their app and let their users a little more control. Of course I can't access the port forwarding from the advanced admin panel from a browser, which must be a recent change. I swear they allowed that when I first setup my service.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advanced!

Hey there, user_wuwu2u0, thanks for taking the time to post on our community forums! Sorry to hear that you're running into issues with your device not registering through the Xfinity App. To clarify, can you tell us the type of device your trying to connect, and is it not appearing on the list of connected devices at all or is it not showing up on a particular screen?
Also, you can absolutely still access the admin tool through a browser, but you must first enable access through the Xfinity App. You can find instructions on how to enable it on our support page here!

FWIW, you can't use a static / reserved IP. It needs to be DHCP. They implement their port forwarding differently...
