How to get to use the built in moderm in XB7 ?

It is extremely very very difficulty getting any communication with xfinity. the virtual agent behaves like idiots and keep asking the same questions over and over again. Completely useless and insulting.

My WIFI has been keeping dropping and I have to restart the modern frequently. I spent a whole day called Xfinity and finally get to sales department with a human being telling me to update a modern to XB7.

Ok, I agreed to pay more and received XB7.  Nobody tells me what functions of this new modern have and how to use them. I have spent lots of time to search online, 

the worst thing is, for two days, the problem of dropping still comes back.  is it because of the old router ?

So I want to switch to the built in modern of XB7, but I donot know how to do it. 

By searching internet, it seems I need to log in an administrative tool page and disable BRIDGE MODE, so to use the builtin modern

however, all the webpages do not work. They are dead pages and some scammer pages/ 

Does xfinity run a secret mission to insult customers ?
