Hey @user_e692m1 , Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to reach out regarding the internet connection to a hotspot. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you. The community member has offered you the steps to disable the public Wi-Fi which is a great first start. If there are still hotspots in the neighborhood they may show as available to connect to. The hotspot would require an Xfinity ID, if there is not an id they would not be able to sign in to the hotspot.
