I don't have a coax connection. My current internet is AT&T over a standard RJ 11/12 phone jack. Is there an adaptor available ?

If I get an RJ 11 to coax adaptor , will the Xfinity modem/router work?  Where can I find such an adapter?

No. You can't get their service from a phone jack. Their service comes through a live coax cable connection from the street / pole.

Thank you.  One additional question.  They say they would send a techician out for hook up for $100.  Would they run an underground cable from the sttreet to the house for $100?  Seems awful cheap to me. Or does the $100 only include local hookup inside the home?

user_zdac25 @EG  is right on with the adapter we would need to get one of our coax outlets installed for you. In most cases the $100 install does cover work inside as well as any line connections. Unless additional construction is needed to get your location connected to our nearest hook up.  Let me know if you still need help with getting that installation appointment set up.

Sorry. I can't know the answer. The tech will assess what is needed for the hook-up. Good luck !
