I recently got an XB10, and switched to the new 2G/2G symmetric plan, uploads very slow

Download is good at > 2G, but upload is usually only 60M.  However, if I power cycle the XB10 modem, I get about 1.3G for a couple of minutes, but then it reverts back to only 60M.  Reboot the modem again, and it's 1.3G or so for a few minutes again....  Then back to 60M.  Any troubleshooting we can do?

My question how did you even get the Xb10? i went to one of the stores and they look at me like i was crying lol, saying they never heard of it. so when i spoke to two employees on live chat, one of them said he will shipped it out to me, well when it got here it was the XB8 the one already have lol. Seems like its very limited.

Sorry for your troubles. Im using XB8, my upload speed has always been 357, but download usually have trouble sometimes suppose to be getting around 2200, but every few weeks or so it drops down to 800 or 1100. Usually what does it for me is restarting my computer and the speed is backup. restarting the moderm helps but i notice just restarting my computer.

If the problem continues, i asked for a credit for the troubles, they usually give me 15 dollars.

I never heard of the 2g/2g plan , i have to look into that once i get the xb10 plan.

Switched the plan online to the new Symmetric, and ordered a self install online.  I don't think you can get an XB10 unless you are in the new "next-next generation region" that has the Symmetric plans.

gabbed Since it was a recent change we will want to check that the new modem and bootfile for the speeds got activated properly on our end. Assuming they did we can troubleshoot from there. Please send us a direct message with your full name and service address and we will take a look.
