I'd rather have temporary slow speeds than the frequent 3-5 minute-long disconnections
Some of us work in two time zones, and when the system stops the internet connection for 3-5 minutes or so, work that has been done is lost. If Comcast has issues with its servers, I would prefer having temporary slow speeds than complete disconnection for 3-5 minutes.
I've been having about 5 instances of disconnection per day (!). Frankly, nobody cares about 600M or gigabit speeds - the system was better (more reliable) when it was slower, because it had no interruptions!
This is not about video games, this is about work! If I'm the only one with repeated unannounced disconnections (while my European and Asian colleagues have no such issues!), that's a big problem. Comcast, please reassess your priorities.

@user_zsnbs3 I'm sorry to hear of the issues you're having with your connection dropping. I work from home as well and understand how important your connection is needed. I would like to troubleshoot with you to resolve this. I have some questions to ask to better assist.
When did this start?
Are you connected to a VPN, separate router, any amplifiers or Wi-Fi extenders in the home?
Is the modem plugged into a power strip?
Can you check the back of your modem, the wall outlet to confirm all the connections are finger tight and secure?
Are multiple devices effected or just one?
