Internet dropping multiple times a day

My internet has been dropping multiple times a day for the past 2 months. Xfinity won't let me talk to a live person any time I call about this, I have restarted the router multiples times and it continues to happen. Has anyone found success in solving this issue? I'm debating switching to USI, I work from home and cannot have this keep happening.

If you browse these forums, you'll see dozens upon dozens of these posts from just the past few weeks. None of them have an answer. A tech might come and replace your modem, and that won't do anything. Xfinity clearly has a nationwide network problem but they refuse to admit it.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions... I guess it's time to switch providers!

Hi @user_4hyle9, there can be a number of things that are the root cause to service issues. While the symptoms my seem similar on your end, the cause can differ from street to street, neighborhood to neighborhood, and state to state. I'm happy to take a look at your account and see what conclusions we can come to and get your connection improved.

Same issue for me in East Tennessee, and one of my coworkers in Michigan.  It happens every 2-3 minutes when we are on Teams calls.  Sometimes we drop at exactly the same time, but usually it’s random.  I’ve had multiple techs come out and restarted the modem dozens of times. Agreed, something is up with Xfinity wifi nationwide, and they aren’t talking about it.
