Internet dropping

It’s impossible to speak with a live agent in regards to this matter, and I just get the run around with the computer chat. For the last few months my interest has dropped or slowed down dramatically. And that’s with me upgrading my service. Have 2 pods to extend the wifi. But now I don’t even get service in some areas of my house. My modem gets extremely hot. it happens with gaming, streaming movies, even on all my devices that are hooked up to it. I’ve unplugged the modem, did the trouble shooting on the website and it says they see nothing wrong with my services. It’s getting really frustrating at this point.

One possible cause. If you are using a Comcast-rented gateway device, and it's getting hot, the cooling fan may be malfunctioning. The first thing you should do is get it swapped out for another one and see if the connectivity problem still remains.
