Internet drops for hours at a time. This time it has not recovered.

Over the past few years, we have been having issues with our internet dropping repeatedly for sometimes 5 minutes and sometimes hours. We have called xfinity to troubleshoot which resulted in a new modem plus an increased internet speed and bandwidth. We were OK for about three weeks, and now we are having the exact same issue. I've tried moving the modem to different areas, plugging it into different outlets, yet we are still having issues. This has made it extremely hard to do anything when you work from home. I logged off of of work early yesterday because I couldn't work without a hotspot from my cell phone. This seems unacceptable with the $$ that is being spent monthly for unreliable internet.
