Internet Interruption Troubleshooting

Hello,

I am experiencing periodic internet interruptions that technical support has not been able to resolve.

These interruptions occur roughly every 5-20 minutes but only impact certain applications that I use on my computer. They manifest in a distinct fashion: I will lose service for roughly 2-3 seconds and then regain it for about 2-3 seconds and then lose it again for another 2-3 seconds.

I was able to use Wireshark to capture one of these interruptions and found it linked to a pair of "TCP Spurious Retransmission" events roughly 4-5 seconds apart.

I don't know how to troubleshoot this, but I understand it could have a variety of causes. I would appreciate any insight and guidance.
