Internet is constantly dropping
My internet seems to randomly drop throughout the day. I notice it almost always happens when playing in an online game, I will be disconnected within 5 minutes and my whole home network will need to reboot.
I have the Xfinity Gateway and have had a technician come out a couple months ago when experiencing similar issues and said everything looked fine and but replaced the gateway anyway. Between then and now it would maybe happen once a day. But it really started to ramp up about 5 days ago, now it will constantly happen. I have another appointment for them to come out this Sunday.
Only two people live in the house, we have maybe 15 devices connected. Computers, phones, TVs, game consoles.
Pulled the logs from the Firewall and have multiple pages that look like this:

30+ pages that look like this just in the last week. Not sure what the "KeyPassphrase Changed" means. Our password hasn't changed.

I have the same issue exactly. They came back in February/March and swapped our modem and inspected and found no real issue whatsoever neither indoors nor outdoors. Yet, the issue was persistent-dropping multiple times in an hour (peak drops occur during the day). I recently swapped equipment again for Gateway and STILL have this issue.

I too have this same issue. It has been going on since late October, originally with xfi modem, eventually got my own equipment, issue still happened, now back to xfi modem so that they can see disconnects. Replaced coax going through house, no splitters, etc, got them to replace line to street. Have had 3 techs come out, all except the last one tried pointing it to my modem, and the most recent tech was able to see that a neighbor on the same connection point at the pole had 200+ disconnects over a 30 day period, they couldn't see my disconnects tho because it was customer owned equipment. NOBODY has gone up to the connection point at the street and actually checked the degraded node tho, disconnects are getting more frequent. Beyond frustrating!!!!

I had Xfinity come out today and we moved my Xfinity gateway to another room. I didn’t have any issues for about an hour or so and then it started up again. Been much less frequent gateway resets but it is still happening.
Not sure if it makes a difference but I did turn off the Xfinity hotspot feature.
if it continues I am thinking of just resetting everything to default on the gateway and adding devices one at a time and see if something is causing it

I made a post a couple months ago about my Xfinity wi-fi dropping periodically throughout the day. At that time it was happening every 5-10 minutes or so whenever someone tried to watch Youtube, Netflix, or even just browsing online. My whole network would go down and the Xfi Gateway would flash orange and take about 5 minutes to reboot. There would be 'Good' days where it would only happen a 5 or 6 times a day and then other days where the internet was basically unusable. I went through multiple gateways and would always get the same issue.
In April a technician came out and changed some of the security and settings on our Gateway. At that time I also bought some Wi-Fi extenders and placed them around my house, I was thinking the Gateway couldn't handle all the devices. (Maybe 15-20 total devices; TVs, PCs, cell phones, game consoles, etc. only 2 people live in the house).
My network rebooted once right after he left but then it went the next day or two without rebooting. For the last couple months it would only happen a couple times a day and just figured that's what I have to deal with.
Last week the reboots have really started to ramp up. Back to where it was in April. Just in the 10 minutes I was writing this post my internet rebooted 2 times.
The internet is great when it works but the constant rebooting is just very frustrating.
I've tried disconnecting all devices except one and it will still happen. I've looked into the gateway settings. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated, thank you !
My event log is just pages and pages of this:

Just wanted to add something new I came across.
I was on my PC and had a reboot just happen, I get the notification that I'm connected but there is no internet. Currently I'm on the 2.4GHZ wifi, but after a minute or so I saw the option for 5GHZ wifi being available. My gateway was still orange. I had to re-enter my wifi password even though my computer should remember it. Once I entered it my internet instantly came back and the Gateway light turned to white. Going from 5GHZ to 2.4 GHZ does the same thing, still have to re-enter my wifi password.
Not sure if that means anything or not.
I've recently switched from being hardwired in to wifi on my PC and the situation has improved, maybe get 1 reboot an hour.
