Internet is unreliable
I’m over the Internet never staying online. Ever since we received our newest modem, the internet continues to crash. I’ve reached out to support numerous times and once I FINALLY get through past the AI, we’ve never come to a resolution. The first time they inspected the modem and found no issues. The second time they did another inspection and again, found no issues. They scheduled a tech to inspect the outside connecting device for the internet and found again, no issues. They tested our modem again and couldn’t find any issues and yet, our internet continues to crash.
my wife and I both work from home, and we continue to get booted off of the internet as it goes down, impacting our ability to stay in work meetings or do our basic jobs. This inconsistency is now impacting our careers. On top of that, we have kids that game and stream when they come home, and even then the internet will crash and boot them. I’m excited to try TMobiles internet for the next two weeks and I’m praying it’s sufficient. I’ve been a long time Xfinity user, and I’m disappointed how Xfinity has handled our issues. FYI (to Xfinity), AI is great, but don’t make it your ultimate problem solver. It shouldn’t be that difficult to get to an associate to help identify an issue.

Howdy user_92es53 👋 Thank you for taking the time to come to our community for support, and even more so for the amount of time you've spent with us! I work from home myself on top of streaming and gaming all the time, so I know exactly how disruptive it is to deal with an internet connection dropping out when I need it most. Above all, we'd hate to lose you as a member of the Xfinity family, and I'd be happy to take a look at your account further to help identify any potential causes of the internet issues you've been experiencing 👍
Please send us a direct chat message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the full service address associated with your account to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
