Internet drops several times a day, restarting only helps temporarily

We are constantly unplugging and restarting our modem.

But there is no way out of the chatbot loop who is only able to tell me to restart my modem.

When I restart it and it works, the chatbot thinks there's no problem.

We need help.

Is the next step to bring my modem to the Comcast store? Will that help?

so what did you do to fix this?

As a test, does a computer / device that is hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an Ethernet cable have the same problem ?

With this test, we are trying to isolate this down to being either a WiFi-only problem or a problem with the general connection to the Comcast system, which would, of course, affect both. It's a good first step in troubleshooting before proceeding any further.
